We begin at our first wine bar in the Ibiza neighborhood, just beside Madrid’s iconic El Retiro, where we’ll enjoy our first two wines. During this introduction, I’ll guide you through Spain’s diverse wine regions, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques, while answering any questions you may have along the way.
Afterward, we take a short five-minute stroll to a second wine bar, where two additional Spanish wines await. Here, you’ll experience the atmosphere of a traditional local wine bar, pairing each wine with classic Spanish tapas as I continue to share insights and stories about Spain’s rich wine culture.
Please note that specific venues may vary depending on availability, but the Ibiza neighborhood offers an excellent selection of outstanding wine bars, ensuring a consistently high-quality experience.

Visit a family-owned winery in the Toledo wine region of Spain. One of Spain’s unknown wine regions, it’s just an hour from Madrid, and easily accessible for daily visits. This secluded winery nestled in the Toledo countryside is that secluded gem wine enthusiasts are looking for.

We begin our journey from Madrid, heading toward the beautiful countryside of Toledo, just about an hour away. Upon arrival, we start our visit with a guided tour of the winery. You’ll explore the charming rustic estate, stroll through the vineyards, and visit both the fermentation and barrel rooms. In the barrel room, set in a candlelit atmosphere, we’ll enjoy our first wine tasting.
Afterwards, weather permitting, we’ll move to the garden to continue the experience with two additional wines. Each tasting is paired with homemade Spanish appetizers, including Manchego cheese from the Castilla-La Mancha region. Made from sheep’s milk, Manchego is one of Spain’s most iconic cheeses, celebrated for its rich, distinctive flavor. It’s crafted from the milk of local sheep you’ll see grazing on the way to the vineyards.
Would you like to stay for lunch at the winery? Following the tour and tasting, you have the option to enjoy a gourmet meal in the winery’s private dining room. The menu includes a starter, main course, dessert, coffee, and, of course, wine. All dishes are thoughtfully prepared using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

You may enjoy the experience at Madrid’s most distinguished wine bar, located directly in front of Puerta de Alcalá, or at an elegant wine and gourmet space on Calle Serrano, just 20 minutes from the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. This second location is both a specialized wine bar and a curated boutique, where you can taste and purchase exceptional Spanish and international wines alongside fine gourmet products.

1. I have dietary restrictions, will there be food for me?
Absolutely! As long as we know in ADVANCE we can accommodate your dietary preferences.
2. What language are the tastings in?
Our tastings are in English, but we also speak Spanish, French and Italian.
3. What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel up to 48 hours in advance with a full refund of your ticket price. I also accept re-bookings.
4. What if I am travelling alone? Can I join a group?
Yes! Feel free to reach out to us with your availability and we can see if we can find a group for you to join, we can’t make any guarantees, but we can sure try!
5. Can I have a private tasting just for myself?
Yes! You would just have to pay for the price of two, as two people are the minimum required for a group.
6. My dates aren’t showing up on your calendar.
No problem, that could be we are travelling at that time, or there is another group booking, but just in case we recommend you e-mail us as we can possibly make some calendar changes depending on your request.
7. Can I bring children?
Children under 12 years old are not invited to join for logistical reasons. Children between the ages of 12-18 can join the experiences and will be charged the regular per person fee. They would not be allowed to consume alcohol, but they will be eating and drinking along with you.
